Neurosoft will create the largest Polish ITS Center.
On 23rd of June Neurosoft has signed an agreement with (Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP), under the Operational Programme Innovative Economy: Measure 4.4, the project ‘Establishment of the management center of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS/BRD) based on innovative technological and business solutions ‘.
The aim of this project is to create a new service department in the field of Road Safety Systems (Bezpieczeństwo Ruchu Drogowego – BRD)/Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), based on a new business model. His foundation will provide:
- NeuroCamera – new generation of registering device: a smart, compact optical system (so-called smart camera), which on the basis of actual image analysis obtains information about the road incident in accordance with the implemented functionality; device is adapted to connect with other cameras in the autonomous recording and tracking systems at the measurement points without the participation of the main system.
- innovative method of implementation and maintenance of systems based on ‘cloud computing’ (cloud ITS) offering users both computing platform (software, access management, information for users), as well as a measurement platform (registering devices of various types)
‘NeuroCamera is a unique global scale solution, significantly exceeding the functionality of current offer of the world best suppliers’ – said Cezary Dołęga, Vice President and the creator of the algorithm used in NeuroCamera.
Introduction of innovative method for implementation and maintenance of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS)/ Road Safety Systems (BRD) and a new high-tech product will allow to achieve a significant technological and economic advantage over the regional, national and global competition acting in the field.
The Company for several years has been consistently developing systems based on neural network technology that recognize the contents of images. A significant technological leap has been made in the project ISKIP (Intelligent Comprehensive Vehicle Identification System), which was implemented in consortium with the Road and Bridge Research Institute, under the Programme Innovative Economy 1.3.1 (www.iskip.edu.pl).
The center will be established by the end of 2015. Until then, the company will hire professionals from Poland.
